Quit21

Terms of Service

Last updated 5 November 2026

These terms apply to the Quit21 app on Android and iPhone and to Quit21 Plus. By installing or using the app you accept them. If you do not, please uninstall it.

Who makes Quit21

Quit21 is made by Yevhenii, a sole trader registered in Spain. The trader details required by law are shown on the app's Google Play and App Store pages. Contact: apps@lymar.dev.

What Quit21 is, and what it is not

Quit21 helps you stop smoking, heated tobacco or vaping: it explains each day, counts what you have not smoked and saved, and gives you your own reasons and a breathing exercise during a craving. The texts name their sources.

Quit21 is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or cure any condition. It does not replace advice from a doctor, a pharmacist or a stop smoking service, and you should talk to one about nicotine replacement, medication, pregnancy or any health problem. If you feel unwell or think you need urgent help, call your local emergency number.

Quit21 is intended for adults.

What is free

The day pages, SOS, the diary, your totals and both tracks are free and stay free. The free version shows a small banner ad on a few screens, as described on the privacy page.

Quit21 Plus

Quit21 Plus adds medals, the piggy bank, the home screen widget and the full statistics, and removes the ads. It is sold as a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription or a one-time purchase for good. The current price is shown in the app and in the store before you pay, in your currency and including taxes that apply.

A new install gets ten days of Plus free. These ten days are the app's own: you give no payment details for them, and nothing is charged when they end. After them the Plus features are locked until you buy Plus. Nothing you entered is deleted when a feature locks: medals keep being earned and the piggy bank keeps counting, and both open again when you buy.

Where the app has said that you keep every feature because you installed it before Plus went on sale, that holds for as long as the app keeps its data on your phone.

Plus is currently sold on Android only.

Payment, renewal and cancellation

Payment is taken by Google Play or by Apple, under the terms of that store. We never see your card or payment details.

A subscription renews automatically at the end of each month or year, at the price then in effect, until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions, Subscriptions) or, on iPhone, in Settings under your name, Subscriptions. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. After cancelling you keep Plus until the end of the period you have paid for.

If a subscription price changes, the store tells you in advance, and you can cancel before the new price applies.

A one-time purchase is paid once and does not renew.

Refunds are handled by Google Play or Apple under their refund policies. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under the consumer law of the country you live in.

A purchase belongs to the store account you made it with. It comes back on a new phone, or after reinstalling, when you are signed in to the same Google or Apple account; in the app, Settings, Quit21 Plus, Restore purchases.

Your data

Everything you enter is stored on your phone, and there is no account. The privacy page explains this in full. Because nothing is kept on a server, we cannot recover your history if the phone is lost or the data is deleted and no backup of the phone exists. Purchases are not affected: they are kept by the store.

Using the app

You may use Quit21 for your own personal, non-commercial use. The app, its texts, illustrations and design belong to the developer. Please do not copy, sell or republish them, or try to get around the purchase, except where the law allows it.

Changes to the app

The app is updated from time to time, and features may be added, changed or removed. If Quit21 Plus is ever no longer offered, subscriptions stop renewing and you are not charged again.

Liability

We work to keep the app correct and available, but it is provided as it is, without a promise that it will be free of errors or always available. Your decisions about your health are your own, and we are not responsible for them. To the extent the law allows, our liability for anything related to the app is limited to what you paid for Quit21 Plus in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, such as for intent or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer.

Apple

If you got Quit21 from the App Store, these terms are between you and the developer, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app and is not responsible for claims relating to it. If the app does not work as described, you may tell Apple, and Apple may refund what you paid for it; beyond that, Apple has no warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. You also agree to Apple's own usage rules in the App Store terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of Spain. If you are a consumer living in another country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory law of that country and may bring a claim in its courts.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the date at the top of the page changes with them. A change that affects what you have paid for is announced in the app before it applies.
